Position Summary:

Maintain the network and infrastructure of internal and external systems ranging from providing site hosting design, maintenance, scalability, and reliability. This position provides performance, operability, troubleshooting, and network connectivity for Company systems.

This position has shared responsibility to execute the security processes for Company Information Systems as it relates to their role and functions.

Specifications:

1. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
   1. Keep current with trends and changes in the related industry of network and communications.
   2. Basic ability and understanding of programming methodology.
   3. An in-depth knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures related to Networking Infrastructure.
   4. An in-depth knowledge of standard concepts of networking, to include cabling and connectivity, as it applies to the daily needs of customers served.
   5. Working knowledge of switch and firewall setup maintenance and update management
   6. Ability to manage and setup configuration of all related network equipment.
   7. Good keyboard skills
   8. Preferred 2-4 years of enterprise level networking experience in routing, switching, firewalls, and security.
   9. Preferred Experience with load balancing, website delivery, AWS, DNS, DHCP, and certificate management.
   10. Familiarity with microservices architecture and container orchestration.
   11. Preferred Experience with technologies and tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Vault, Nomad, Consul or Docker.
   12. Background in some programming language such as Python, Go, or Bash.
   13. Experience with Splunk and the ability to parse and query data for operational intelligence, performance monitoring, and threat analysis.
   14. Experience in Windows Server and Linux Operating Systems.
   15. Knowledge of standard methodologies related to security, site reliability, performance optimization, disaster recovery, and compliance.
   16. Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

1. Relevant Education, Certifications and Experience
   1. Must possess an Associate s degree, or equivalent experience, in an Information Systems related field. Knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures related to Network. Bachelor s degree preferred.

1. Two years experience on Microsoft workstation and server OS within 1 release of the current general release by Microsoft.

1. 1. A minimum of 2 years of Network infrastructure experience.
   2. Background in some programming language to ensure an understanding of data and object flow
   3. 1 to 2 years experience with Microsoft server management.
   4. 2 to 5 years experience with Microsoft Office.
   5. Interest in, and support of, the NRA and the shooting, hunting, and outdoor industry.

Key Job Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and supports current network hardware and software.
2. Supports, monitors, tests, and troubleshoots all Physical network infrastructure hardware and software problems to include VLAN, IP, DNS naming management.
3. Install manage and monitor log changes on switches, routers, and other related network infrastructure equipment.
4. Power management as it pertains to UPS.
5. Assists in management of IS inventory.
6. Assists in evaluation, and testing of hardware and software as assigned.
7. Performs customer support initiatives, maintains data security, key measures as assigned, process flow and all associated items.
8. Analyzes current work methods and processes and identifies opportunities to implement common processes and best practices; assist in creating and executing action plans.
9. Supports process integration of continuous improvement throughout the department, improves the processes by understanding, measuring, charting and reducing the variations in the process that have a negative impact on the process and process deliverables.
10. Maintains ISO compliance (Work Instructions), oversees documentation process, maintains document control for department and assumes duties as part of ISO audit team.
11. Evaluate, analyze, and maintain all PCI compliance initiatives as they relate to Network Infrastructure.
